20 minutes from our Casa is the Castle (Castelo de Leiria) the central street is “Marques de Pombal”. Near this street is a bus station, from here you can easily get to all important cities of Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) and Paris. Chain stores in this city are Ulmar, Lidl, Pinko, Zara etc.
Tomar is a Tuscan oriented city, located in the Centre of Portugal. The buildings in the city have beautiful warm colours. In the cosy city centre are beautiful medieval walls filled with azulejos. In the Centre you can also very well spent if you like to shop. In Tomar is also the well-known beautiful Convento do Cristo with the most famous window of Portugal.

At about 45 min drive from the medieval town of Óbidos, this is one of the most picturesque and best preserved towns of Portugal and certainly worth a visit.
The Portuguese city of Coimbra. The place is located about 120 kilometers south of the city of Porto. There is a lot of history here. There are also plenty of bars, restaurants and terraces.
The beautiful versatile Lisbon, (Airport) is about 140 km from our Casa. You can get a nice day trip to this great city and the hustle and bustle, then in the evening quiet return to Casa das Flores
