Our schedules
now revolve around the seasons and invariably food - which fruit is
harvesting, is it time to taste the first press of wine of the
season and are the chestnut sellers out yet? John and I, moved
to Portugal
to slow out lives down and enjoy each minute. Our move to
Central Portugal
has allowed us to do just that and we hope you to do
the same when you join us at Casa das Flores Bed & Breakfast.
Instead of watching life pass us by we are now able to enjoy every
moment of our time whether it's picking olives with neighbours,
sampling the first wine of the season or just relaxing at home.
Every day brings some new adventure and we look forward to sharing
our experiences and knowledge of Central Portugal
with all our

In the United
Kingdom John and I led busy lives, unable to spend time together due
to the constraints of our businesses, so we investigated how we
could live abroad and take advantage of the opportunities in living
